The Arbe Standard Vulcanizer VD-102 has 8" x 5" platens, the standard in the jewelry industry for platen size. Made with heavy-duty aluminum cast construction, the Arbe Standard Vulcanizer can reach a maximum temperature of 550°F (288°C) and has a maximum opening of 2-3/4". The Arbe Standard Vulcanizer uses an ultra sensitive bulb and capillary thermostat for precise temperature control, a necessary requirement for using the latest no-shrink vulcanizing rubbers. Arbe uses steel frame mica heating elements for long service life and extra thick aluminum platens for even constant pressure on the rubber mold. Overall size of the Arbe Standard Vulcanizer is 15" wide by 8" deep by 18" high.
