This cutting jig is great for making tiny precise cuts on wire. Has an adjustable cutting stop for making repetitive cuts of the same length up to 65mm (2-1/2") long. The cutting stop can be removed and is functional for helping to make repeated cuts of the same length from 8mm to 65mm. The cutting stop is not used for making smaller cuts as the stop is blocked by the cutting arm. Cuts from under 7mm to as small as 1mm can skillfully be made by hand and by sight by measuring and marking the wire beforehand. This jig is not recommended for cutting hollow tubes unless the tubes are supported with internal wire.

The base of the wire cutting jig measures 2-3/4" x 3" and has four holes for securely mounting the jig to a bench. Mounting screws are not supplied. The jig is mounted to the base by 2 hex nuts and can be removed from the base for mounting in a vise. The complete unit stands 4" tall, with the cutting lever being about 7" long. There is a hex key supplied for using the hex nut that is used to lock down the adjustable cutting stop.
