Beverly Shear B-1

The Beverly Shear Model B-1 is made in USA and is standard equipment in metalsmith shops all over the world. Don't be fooled by low cost copies from the discount tool guys, the genuine Beverly Shear can't be beat! With a lower blade length of 4-1/4", the B-1 Beverly Shear is rated to make straight or curved cuts to infinite lengths as long as you can feed. Cuts up to 14 gauge mild steel or 18 gauge stainless steel. Unlike straight blade shears, the design of the Beverly shear allows you to turn your work in any position while cutting. This precision machined, alloy steel body cutter is designed for maximum strength. Geared rack and pinion mechanism makes heavy cutting easy. Blades can be re-sharpen if dull or they can be replaced if damaged.

The Beverly Shear has an amazingly small foot print of about 8"x 8" with a vertical handle that remains upright and out of the way. The long handle exerts powerful leverage for quickly cutting 12" x 12" sheets into round discs for raising projects or making long cuts for bangles.
