German made brass solder box with a rotating lid for keeping precious metal solders safe and organized.

Stock your solder in the opening immediately behind the type marking.  Keep the lid in the zu (closed) position to keep solders secure.


Box is 70 mm (2-3/4") in diameter and 20 mm (3/4") in height. Lid is firmly attached to the box and is not meant to be removed-it is only meant to rotate by grabbing the peg on top of the lid in one hand while holding the box in the other.

Lid is stamped:

Goldlot weich (soft gold solder)
Silberlot (silver solder)
Platinlot (platinum solder)
Goldlot hart (hard gold solder)
zu (closed)

Use it as the Germans intended or mark your own labels as you see fit.
