Tungsten carbide is a much harder metal than regular carbon steel so these edges will stand up to harder metals, like nickel based wire, for added strength and durability.

Because they are beveled edge, these jaws are much stronger than flush cut cutters. For long service life cut as deep as you can into the jaws and remember to always wear eye protection. Side cutters should not be used for cutting sheet.
