Fretz M-133B Finishing Concave Fluting Stake

Fretz Design has designed fluting stakes for domed and flat bracelet surfaces. The new M-133A and M-133B make it possible to flute concave bracelets and other shapes with handcrafted random or uniform flutes. The stakes M-133A and M-113B are designed to be used after the project is formed on the concave M-104 Stake. See part number 112.734

The Fretz M-133B Finishing Concave Fluting Stake is used after the M-133A to sharpen up the flutes. The M-133A with its round crest line leaves a track for the second stake to follow. Planish lightly with the M-133B stake following the tracks made with the M-133A stake. The semi formed flutes keep this sharp stake from dancing around on the inside and the result is a pristine flute. The resulting planish makrs will be dependent on how hard the metal is struck and which hammer is chosen.

Use with Fretz stake holder H-1 (112.600) or Fretz extended reach stake holder H-1L (112.719) for mounting onto a workbench or tabletop. If your work requires deeper access than the H-1L extended reach stake holder offers, you can get additional working room if you use this stake with the Fretz double ended stake holder T-101 (112.721) or the Fretz extender holder E-101 (112.726). Keep in mind that both the T-101 and the E-101 have larger tangs that will require larger stake holders.
