About the GraverHone VS:
Rough, sharpen and polish high speed steel or carbide gravers faster with the GraverHone VS. This variable speed hone features high torque with an American made motor promoting the highest quality and longevity.
Each spindle and drive plate are individually qualified parallel to the top surface of each GraverHone. This extra step during manufacturing ensures that each unit is in proper alignment for the most repeatable grinds every time.

About the Apex Sharpening System:
The GRS Apex Sharpening System is the perfect fixture for anyone from the novice to professional who needs to quickly and accurately sharpen gravers. The Apex is an innovative 4-in-1 update to the Dual Angle fixture.
The Apex has a new shorter fixture nose and a longer fixture post that can easily accommodate longer gravers. Locking knobs are now knurled steel have for quicker and more ergonomic use. A simple quarter-turn locks the GRS QC tool holders in place using the black color post dial for faster and more efficient tool changes. The black post dial has been simplified to make it easier to find the correct angle setting. Most notably, the fixture now features the use of 3 color coded Apex Speedline Dials which makes for precise step-by-step graver sharpening for everyone.
The Apex Sharpening System includes the 3 Color coded Apex Speedline Dials. The numbers and text on the dials provide a built-in guide on which part of the graver is being sharpened and the settings to do so. For the beginner, this will teach the identical movements and terminology required to make custom gravers with the Dual Angle dial. For the advanced artist these dials create and efficient repeatability for faster sharpening. Dials are quickly removed and replaced so you can make any graver geometry desired. The Apex Speedline Dials are for 90 (green), 105 (blue) and 120 (red) degrees.

You can also use a plug adapter for your local outlet connected to the North American 3 prong plug supplied.
