The Knew Concepts Power Scroll Saw is engineered specifically for jewelry sawing applications, accepting the standard 130mm (5-1/8") jeweler's saw blade in sizes 8/0 through 8. Designed for jewelers, metalsmiths, and anyone who performs a considerable volume of sawing — or finds a standard hand saw frame difficult to use — this scroll saw clamps directly to the bench via two screw clamps and is ready to work once a blade is fitted and a compatible variable speed foot control is connected (sold separately). Made in the USA, it handles everything from soft metals like gold, copper, and silver to harder materials such as mild steel.
With variable speed from zero to 160 strokes per minute, the saw's pure vertical blade motion produces clean, controlled cuts that other scroll saw designs cannot replicate. Blades are more likely to wear out from normal use than break prematurely, and operating at slower speeds allows the blade to dissipate heat for extended blade life. A built-in Fail Safe Stop halts the unit automatically if a blade breaks — because the cable drive cannot function without a complete blade in place.
Note: Requires a Foredom C.FCT-1 foot control or similar foot control with a standard 3-prong North American plug. Can also be used with a Foredom C.EM-1 tabletop speed control. Both are sold separately.

For best results, use premium-quality Swiss or German jeweler's saw blades. Otto Frei Swiss, Pike Platinum (Switzerland), and Antelope & Hercules (Germany) blades are recommended for consistent 130mm length and uniform quality throughout the blade.
