Oval Amazonite Cabochon

Named after the Amazon river that runs through Brazil, Amazonite is a great alternative to turquoise. With its blue-green color, grid-like white streaks and faint sheen, Amazonite has a unique appeal. Part of the feldspar group, the mineral albite gives this stone its characteristic white mottling. Clean with warm, soapy water. Avoid use of ultrasonic and steam cleaner.
