The Grobet 12 ounce pickler maintains a consistent temperature (Around 125⁰ F) in its tempered glass container. Supplied with a plastic basket. 110V/60C. Very similar to the Ferris Picklers.

Professional grade pickelers are made for the jewelry industry and, unlike crock pots used as picklers, will never leach out iron from the ceramic glaze commonly used in crock pot linings that can ruin your pickling solution and deposit copper on your jewelry.

Care must be taken with picklers to make sure you turn them off when not in use as if the pickling solution is allowed to evaporate, the tempered glass container may crack.  Picklers are meant to be used with a basket so the jewelry doesn't sit on the bottom of the container.  If items are dropped directly into the glass container, you may possibly damage the glass. With proper use, picklers can last many years, however, the tempered glass container does not have a warranty.

Always use copper tongs or tweezers when placing non-ferrous metal jewelry items in a pickling solution.  The introduction of the smallest amounts (one sawblade tooth) of ferrous metal in a non-ferrous metal pickling solution will ruin the entire batch of solution.
