PUK 5, 4.1, 04, and 3S Foot Control

The PUK foot Pedal can be used when it is difficult to reach into a weld spot. Touching adjacent metal may unintentionally ignite the weld and damage a finding or a part.

The pedal and blue lead wire can also be used for Tack Welds. This mode only works in PUK 5 and 4.1.  Tack Welds are used for industrial metals to temporarily hold parts in place with a low energy Tack Weld. Tack welds work well with stainless, titanium, niobium, steel, and many industrial metals but is not useful for silver and gold alloys.
