Product Details

These bent square shank STER hallmark stamps are made of precision cut heat-treated tool steel and are used for marking silver alloys that are no less than 0.925% fine silver by weight. These stamps imprints the letters STER, an abbreviation for Sterling Silver. Bent stamps can be used for marking the inside of rings.  Also called gooseneck stamps, these STER stamps are made in the USA and Germany, and make sunken impressions on precious metals.  Measurement refers to the height of the impression, not the width.
