Manufactured in Switzerland, the Swiss Torch is the most popular jeweler's torch used in Europe. Craftsmen favor it for its balance, precision and versatility. The Swiss Torch is four torches in one. First, it is a repair torch with a Hoke style head familiar to North American jewelers. Second, it is a microhead torch, a precision torch with 3 different hypodermic tips for precise soldering and welding. Third, it is a platinum torch, with a special tip that produces a hotter flame for melting and casting a small amount of platinum. Finally, it is a casting torch, with your choice of oxy/gas or compressed air/gas torch heads. The Swiss Torch works best with Propane or Natural Gas. The Swiss Torch is not for use with Acetylene. The Microhead and the Hoke style head can be used with Hydrogen.

This is the Swiss Torch Casting Torch for use with compressed air and propane.  This kit contains the Swiss torch body with the Swiss Torch Compressed Air Casting Head. It is used with compressed air and gas-(either propane or natural gas).  If you use natural gas, you will most likely need a natural gas booster to achieve the necessary psi for use.  For best results when casting we recommend propane gas. Warning-do not use this head with oxygen-it is meant for use with compressed air only.  Using this head with oxygen will damage the head! Do not use with Acetylene or Hydrogen.

Use this compressed air casting torch head with 2 Bar (30 PSI) of compressed air.
