The roll size is 76mm (3”) wide, by 43mm diameter. The rolls are manufactured from selected high carbon steel. See our new selection of engraved pattern rolls for the Compact Economy Rolling Mill   It is a light duty mill, and just like any other jewelers rolling mill, should only be used with soft non-ferrous metals like gold, silver and copper. You can do many of the same things with this mill as you could do with a more expensive mill, as long as you refrain from making big passes and anneal your metal often. The maximum thickness of sheet that you can roll in this economy mill is 2.0mm.  This economy mill also features a reduction gear and a wheel style adjuster.   The economy rolling mill comes with seven rolls:  one upper flat roll (installed on mill) one lower flat roll (installed on mill) one upper wire shape* roll-18 grooves from 1mm to 5mm with a short 9mm flat surface one lower wire shape* roll-18 grooves from 1mm to 5mm & 2 half round grooves one upper roll with 9 “V” grooves from 1.2mm to 3.4mm and 7 half-round grooves from 1.4mm to 4mm one upper pattern roll #1 one upper pattern roll #2  *The wire shape is for reducing the diameter of wire, and not for producing a perfectly square or round product.
