Maple John Frei Custom Deluxe Watchmakers Workbench with Armrest-Single Bank

Maple watchmakers bench with padded armrests. Padded comfort armrests, made of a durable breathable material, have been added to our John Frei watchmaker's bench. Armrests are often found in European watchmaker's benches and were a feature of the original watchmaker's bench built by John Frei Sr. in the 1970's. This bench features a 2" thick butcher block top .Other features include cloth lined catch tray, 2 large tool drawers, and 8 drawers Made with the same quality wood materials and attention to detail as our John Frei jewelry workbenches. Measures 47-1/2" wide x 26" deep x 38" tall and weighs 200 lbs. Also available as a double bank workbench-see part number 013.036 There is a $50.00 crating charge for the single bank watchmakers bench if the bench is shipped. Shipping Information: Workbenches are shipped via truck freight only.  Standard FedEx or UPS shipping is not available as FedEx and UPS regularly damage workbenches in transit and then refuse to pay for damages.  Truck freight delivery rarely incur damages, and if damages do occur, the freight companies we deal with will cover damages. We do not offer a freight calculator link for estimating freight charges due to the difficulty in receiving reliable quotes. We ask that you email us or call us for a quote based on your unique delivery situation. If you order a bench we will contact you to get your delivery details.

Freight charges are paid directly to the freight carrier, on delivery. Common variables for delivery that freight companies charge extra for include but are not limited to-residential delivery, lift gate required, call before delivery, inside delivery and rural delivery.  The least expensive freight charges will be to a commercial address (commercial is defined by the freight carrier and means a business address in a non residential area with Monday thru Friday business hours) with the ability (dock high door, fork lift, several able body persons) to remove the item from the truck without the assistance of the driver.

As you can see, freight charges vary due to the size and weight of the bench and the distance from our warehouse in Oakland, Ca.
