Acetylene atmospheric torch systems are very popular, since acetylene is a hotter burning gas than propane, producing a smaller, more intense flame than the propane kit. What that means is that you can do smaller scale soldering easier with the acetylene kit than with the propane kit. Of course, propane gas is easier to obtain and burns cleaner than acetylene gas, but you should consider the merits of acetylene gas before you choose a single tank torch system. This kit contains a torch body, hose, one tip # 00 (super fine), a double dial B acetylene regulator and a torch lighter. This kit does not include the empty B acetylene tank. Additional tips are available separately. Operating temperature 4200° F. Recommended fuel pressure setting 10 psi.
