Aluminum Oxied Brown Fine 180 Mesh Abrasive media leaves a matt  finish.  The 180 mesh aluminum oxied media works well with our pencil bead blaster and in all other bead blasters.  If you looked at the aluminum oxied media under a mircroscope you would see that they are tiny grains of irregular shaped crystals.  When these small beads impact on the surface, they rapidly remove material leaving a relatively matt finish as compared to glass beads.  Similar to glass beads but quicker cutting. The 180 mesh aluminum oxied brown is a quicker cutter than the 220 mesh.
