This Value Line Pro Dapping Punch & Die Set has a better finish than our standard Value Line Dapping Punch & Die Set. It features 24 highly polished steel dapping punches from 2.3mm to 25mm (approximately 5/32" to 1") with a 2" square steel dapping block with depressions from 3.8mm to 40mm all on a wood storage block. While not a matched set*, the metal you dap won't know the difference, and the price is right. Made in India.

Size of the 24 Dapping Punches: 2.3mm, 3.5mm, 4.3mm, 5.1mm, 5.9mm, 6.7mm, 7.5mm, 8.3mm, 9.1mm, 9.9mm, 10.7mm, 11.5mm, 12.3mm, 13mm, 13.8mm, 14.8mm, 15.4mm, 16.2mm, 17mm, 18.6mm, 20.2mm, 21.8mm, 23.4mm and 25mm. (approximately 3/32" to 1")

Range of the 19 Hemispherical Depressions: From 3.8mm to 40mm (approximately 5/32" to 1-5/8")

Size of the Numbered Wood Stand (measured without tools): 8" wide by 4-1/2" deep by 1-1/2" high

Great for the price

For $50 this is a great set. I'm impressed! The punch heads are even, all the necessary surfaces have a good polish and the half spheres are deep enough. If you're going to save money on an affordable set, don't be disappointed it isn't perfect. The smallest punches are a little short of a full circle and a handful of the divots in the block have sharp edges. All of these are easy fixes or simple to work around for a metalsmith
