Kerr had 3 generations* of melting furnaces branded as Electro-Melts over the years. The last generation, and the most reliable, were the Electro-Melts manufactured in Italy. We are excited to once again be able to offer these well proven electric melting furnaces, now branded as Ventura-Melts.
These are the 1 kilogram (30 troy ounce) capacity gold "Standard" Ventura-Melts Electric Melting Furnace in either 120V or 230V. Also available in a 3 kilogram (100 troy ounce) capacity gold "Maxi" Ventura-Melts Electric Melting Furnace, in either 120V or 230V. See below.
These are the exact same machines as the Kerr Standard Electro-Melts. All parts are interchangeable, as all parts are exactly the same, so if you own Kerr's last generation 1 kg (30 troy ounce) Kerr Electro-Melt, model numbers 35222 in 120V (35223 in 230V), you will now be able to source parts in the unlikely event that you will ever need them. The last generation Italian made Kerr Electro-Melts were extremely reliable. We sold hundreds of them and have had zero requests for spare parts.

The 30 troy oz. gold capacity Ventura-Melt has digital controls with a built in programmer so you can achieve perfect melts every time. The programmer allows you to set precise temperatures for your melts, a big improvement over the previous generations manual hi-low controls that required constant observation least you overshoot and ruin your melt and your element. These Automatic versions, when used properly (please read instructions), extends element life and is perfect for production use in casting or refining operations. The Ventura-Melt with automatic controls is easy to program and simple to pour.
The Ventura-Melt 30 troy ounce Electric Melting Furnace will achieve a maximum temperature of 1121 degrees C (2050 F). Please note that exceeding the maximum temperature will cause damage to the heating element. The Ventura-Melt 30 troy ounce Electromelt will achieve 982o C (1800o F) in 22 minutes and has a gold capacity of 930 grams(30 troy oz)., silver capacity is 775 grams (25 troy oz.) Other than the crucibles, parts for the Ventura-Melts and the last generation Kerr Electro-Melts, are not interchangeable with any of the previous version of the Kerr electromelts. Made in Italy.

Sold with a limited factory warranty. In the event of a defect in material or workmanship, Ventura VCG SRL's liability is limited, at VCG Ventura ARL's option, to replacement of the defective product or part thereof, or reimbursement of the actual cost of the defective product. In order to take advantage of this limited warranty, the defective product must be returned to VCG Ventura SRL. In no event shall VCG Ventura SRL, or any of their dealers or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
Kerr closed their Jewelry Division as of the end of 2017 and the brand Kerr Electromelt has been retired. *There are no parts available for the previous 2 generations of Kerr Electro-Melts. Only the crucibles are the same. Only parts for the last generation Kerr Electro-Melts are available as Ventura-Melt parts.
