This is Durston's older DRM C130. Durston has come up with a replacement for the DRM line called the Agile. Agile mills have the exact same rolls with the exact same reduction gear in a slightly less bulkier frame for a lot less money, more than 30% less in fact. You can buy a rolling mill stand with the savings! You can even buy a larger C160 Agile for just a little more than this DRM C130. See Agile mills below.

The Durston DRM 130 has a new cast body giving maximum strength and rigidity matched with the highest quality hardened and ground rolls. Self lubricating maintenance free bearings and hardened helical drive gears with special form for maximum drive are just a few of the engineering advancements that sets Durston rolling mills apart from the competition. The DRM 130 mills also feature a newly designed reduction gear box with 5 to 1 reduction, (20% greater reduction than the DRM 100) for a smooth and easy action.

Other Durston features that are not found on other mills are the large flywheel handle for opening and closing the rolls and the heavy duty frame that adds weight to the mill but has never failed in thousands and thousands of units sold.

This is the Durston DRM combination C130mm rolling mill without the extension rolls. By not including the extension rolls Durston has been able to reduce the price making this mill more affordable.

*The wire profile is used for reducing the diameter of wire so you can draw the wire through a drawplate to achieve a desired shape. The wire profile on the roll produces a shape that can be best be described as a modified hexagon.
