Glardon-Vallorbe Half-Round Escapement Files - LE3008

Swiss made Glardon-Vallorbe Half Round Escapement files have square handles. Escapement file lengths are measured from tip to the end of the cut and measurements do not include the tang. Escapement files are also called Watchmakers files.

Half Round files are tapered in width and thickness, coming to a rounded point on the tip. They are cut on both sides.

Measurements given are at the thickest point.

• Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss Made Escapement Files are measured from the point where the teeth begin to when the cut stops.  The tang or handles are not included in this measurement.
• Glardon-Vallorbe Swiss Made Halfround Escapement Files are graded with a number from 2 for coarsest to 10 for finest. Remember, the higher the number the finer the cut.
