Durston 1214 Paper Cutter Style 12" Bench Shear

The 12″ Durston Bench Shear is a light duty shear perfect for cutting non-ferrous sheet metal (copper, brass, silver & gold) up to 1 mm thick for creating both large and small pieces.  Straight edges can be cut up to 12″ (approx. 30cm).  It is operated with a hand bar that is separate from the cutting blade, giving you straight and even cuts that do not distort you metal. An adjustable drop-off gauge that will hold the metal securely during the cut.  

The shear boasts a cast iron, rigid body with steel fittings making it strong and durable.  The long handle provides good leverage to ensure smooth cuts by improving the ease of cutting.
