To lower the price even more we substituted a less expensive pickle pot. This kit contains the simple Blazer Torch, a basic torch that runs on butane (with the blazer torch you can start to learn how to hard solder small jobs like jump rings and simple jewelry repairs...once you have mastered beginning soldering, you will want to move up to a bigger torch). You can find containers of butane at most hardware and drug stores.
