Description

The Stone Chuck with 1/4" Shank is designed for use with 1/4" hole wheels and fits the Wells Quick Change Chuck system. This chuck is factory mounted to a Baldor 380WCT and functions similarly to a car clutch, allowing brushes and other bits to be swapped out rapidly without stopping the motor — a significant time-saver in a busy production shop.

The quick change chuck accepts either 3/32" diameter shank tools or 1/4" diameter shank tools. Note that it will not accommodate shank sizes between these two diameters or anything larger. The system comes with 3/4" diameter shank tools, a sandpaper arbor, a stone or wheel arbor, and a right side tapered spindle.
