How we source our metal
These are the findings that turn a finished ornament into a brooch: a sterling silver pin back with the pin and catch already built in, ready to solder to your own design. The hardware is smooth and finished, so the piece feels solid and secure when it is fastened. They are manufactured in Germany.
Five lengths are offered, from 1″ up to 2″, which covers everything from a small lapel pin to a larger brooch, and they are sold individually so you can buy the exact lengths and quantities a run of work calls for.

Notes
Solder the pin back securely to your piece, taking care not to overheat the catch mechanism so it continues to close smoothly. These suit custom brooches, badges, and decorative pins.
