Cratex Wheels Knife Edge-Packs of 10

Cratex Knife Edge Wheels are rubberized abrasive wheels designed for precise metal, glass, and lapidary conditioning and finishing. Measuring 5/8" x 3/32", their knife edge profile allows access to tight areas, grooves, and contoured surfaces where flat or tapered wheels cannot reach. Sold in packs of 10, these wheels are available in four grits to suit a range of applications from aggressive material removal to final polishing.

Cratex rubberized abrasives are constructed with silicon carbide abrasive grain mixed homogeneously throughout a premium-grade, oil-resistant chemical rubber bond. As the wheel wears, fresh abrasive grain is continuously exposed, ensuring consistent cutting performance from start to finish. The cushioned bond cuts freely and smoothly without gouging, digging, clogging, or smearing—making these wheels ideal for work requiring dimensional control and surface integrity.

The silicon carbide abrasive used in Cratex products is premium quality, washed, dried, treated to remove impurities, and screened to U.S. Department of Commerce standards. It performs effectively on ferrous and non-ferrous alloys as well as non-metallic surfaces such as glass.
