WR Cobb sterling silver extra heavy fusion friction earring posts are built for professional jewelers who work both ways. Each post carries a small nib of silver at the top, which is what a fusion machine needs to make its weld. For conventional soldering, file the nib down to leave a smooth, flat surface. The posts measure 0.036 inch (0.91mm) thick by 0.437 inch (11.1mm) long and are sold by the pack of 12.
