GRS 003-674 Step Riser For Microblocks

The GRS 003-674 Step Riser Set is designed to raise the height of GRS Microblock vises, giving jewelers, engravers, and stone setters greater flexibility when adjusting their working distance — particularly when using a microscope. Each set includes 5 risers that can be stacked in combination to achieve the precise elevation needed for comfortable, ergonomic work.

The GRS Microblock itself stands 3.375" tall on its plastic base. Adding a single riser raises the block approximately 3/8" (9mm) — the concave center of the riser accounts for the modest gain with one unit. Each additional riser added raises the block approximately 5/8" (15mm). Using all five risers together raises the Microblock a total of approximately 2-1/2" (63mm), providing meaningful height adjustment range for any workbench setup.

These risers are purpose-built for use with the GRS Microblock™ Ball Vise, a precision work-holding tool machined from solid stainless steel with a low-glare finish to reduce eye strain during detailed work. The Microblock features a smooth self-centering jaw system, an adjustable internal brake for variable rotational resistance, and a compact low-profile design optimized for microscope work and precision tasks such as stone setting and small engraving jobs.
