Badeco Mini 5LC100 Polishing Handpiece

Filing, finishing and polishing in the recesses a hand file cannot reach is the work this handpiece is built for. The Badeco 5LC100 is a super-mini polishing and filing handpiece engineered for precision work in the Swiss watch and jewelry industry. Remarkably slim and lightweight at just 43 grams (slightly under 1½ oz), this handpiece is a testament to Badeco's long history of supplying demanding bench professionals.

The 5LC100 runs a 1mm stroke and is designed exclusively for polishing and filing. It is not a hammer handpiece and should not be used for stone setting. It excels when paired with ceramic files or Glardon-Vallorbe miniature handpiece files, allowing jewelers and metalsmiths to file, finish and polish areas that would otherwise be inaccessible by hand.

Tools such as ceramic files and Vallorbe miniature files are secured in the included Universal Tool Holder via a set screw. Additional Universal Tool Holders are available separately under part number 134.743-UTH. For larger tooling, Badeco offers a special 3.2mm tool holder that uses two set screws to secure tools up to 3.2mm in diameter, available separately as part number 134.743-320.
