A bench-top dial speed control lets you set a flex shaft's running speed by hand instead of by foot, so both feet stay free while you work. The Foredom C.EMX does that for TX, TXH, LX, and LXH series motors: turn the knob until the motor settles into a smooth, steady hum at exactly the pace you want, then leave it there for repeatable work.
Two versions match regional mains voltage. The C.EMX-1 runs on 115V for 110–120 V supply and the C.EMX-2 runs on 220V/240V for 220–240 V supply. Both share the same compact plastic housing, 5" (127 mm) long by 5-3/4" (146 mm) wide by 2-5/8" (67 mm) high, and both carry a green power-on light so you can see at a glance that the control is live. Foredom builds both.
