This Foredom kit combines the M.LX low speed, high torque hang-up motor with a C.TXR-1 electronic foot control and your choice of duplex spring handpiece. The motor is a 1/10 HP permanent magnet, ball bearing unit running on 115V up to 5,000 RPM, and as you ease into the pedal the handpiece comes up to speed smoothly, so you feel each cut rather than fight it. Keeping the motor and handpiece separate leaves the working end light and maneuverable, and the foot control leaves both hands free for the tool and the workpiece.
