A hang-up flex shaft motor mounts above the bench and sends rotary power down a flexible shaft to the handpiece held in your hand, so you can cut, drill, grind, and polish. The Foredom SR Series flex shaft system is the most popular flex shaft in the world, built to industrial standards for years of trouble free work. Built for jewelers, woodworkers and industry, the SR motor delivers 1/6 HP with a maximum speed of 18,000 rpm. Smooth, foot-controlled torque lets you feel each cut, grind, and polish with confidence and control. Its ball-bearing construction holds power without stalling under normal load, and the motor reverses, which helps left-handed users, aids symmetrical grinding, and backs out stuck drill bits.
This is our 115V key-tip M.SR motor matched with a C.FCT-1 variable-speed foot control, and your choice of professional handpieces, or the motor and control on their own if you already have handpieces.

Notes
- Caution: When using screw-top mandrels with unmounted polishing wheels, the reverse feature may unscrew the mandrel. Use only pre-mounted polishing wheels when operating in reverse.
- The same M.SR motor is also offered with the C.SCT-1 cast iron foot control and with the C.EM-1 and C.EMF-1 dial controls.
- Every Foredom motor carries a two-year warranty.
