Cut seats, shape metal and finish detail work at the bench with one of each of the most popular bur shapes and sizes. Busch burs are the most trusted name in jewelers' burs, known for precision and durability, and this Busch Mixed Shapes Student Bur Kit of 23 pieces brings those shapes together in a single, budget-friendly starter set. The kit is part of the GIA graduate jeweler program, with burs selected by GIA expert instructors to align with the GIA curriculum, making it a practical choice for students and emerging jewelers building a first professional toolkit.
Shapes represented include Fig 256 Krause, Fig 6 Bud, Fig 77B Cup, Fig 15 Cylinder Square Plain Cut, and Fig 156C Hart 90 Degree burs spanning a range of sizes. All burs are tungsten vanadium steel on 3/32" (2.35mm) shanks for easy, universal drill changes, and the kit ships in a round plastic bur box for storage and organization.
The 3/32" (2.35mm) shanks fit standard flex shaft and rotary handpieces, so burs swap without changing collets or chucks.
