Sterling Silver Sheet 16GA to 21GA-6" x 1" to 6" x 12" 

Sterling silver sheet is the starting stock for fabrication, forming, and general metalsmithing at the bench. This .925 sterling silver sheet is cut to size in 6" (152.4 mm) wide pieces, in gauges from 16 ga (1.30 mm) through 21 ga (0.71 mm), with lengths from 1" (25.4 mm) to 12" (304.8 mm) in full-inch increments. Select your gauge and length; stock is sold per piece.

Every sheet is supplied in 1/2 hard temper (Vickers Hardness 90–100) with a brushed finish. The .925 sterling silver alloy provides reliable workability for fabrication, forming, and metalsmithing applications. Dead soft temper can be achieved by annealing, though annealed sheet is difficult to re-harden back to 1/2 hard.

• Weights listed are approximate and based on a 6" x 1" piece; multiply by the length in inches for larger cuts.
• Annealed (dead soft) sterling silver is approximately 66–76 Vickers Hardness, and it is difficult to re-harden to 1/2 hard once annealed.

Recent volatility in the metals markets has put most gauges of sterling silver sheet on back order from multiple mills with longer than expected lead times, which has depleted our stock. We are not accepting backorders for silver sheet at this time and expect supply to return to normal in late September.
