Thermo-Loc Sticks and Teflon Pad Starter Kit

Thermo-Loc is a reusable, U.S.-made work-holding polymer that is rigid at room temperature and becomes pliable when warmed. It's ideal for securing irregular or delicate items—rings, bracelets, knife or gun parts, small hardware—so you can engrave, set, carve, file, or finish with both hands free. Supplied as convenient 6" (150 mm) sticks in a neutral medium gray to reduce eye strain. Non-toxic and biodegradable.

How to Use

1. Heat – Warm Thermo-Loc until pliable using a microwave in short bursts, electric heat gun, warm oven, or hot water.
2. Mold – Shape around the workpiece while soft, leaving a clear removal path.
3. Hold – Allow to cool to room temperature; the material grips by close fit, not adhesion.
4. Reheat & Reuse – Reheat and reform as many times as needed.

Notes

• Exercise caution above ~180°F (82°C); let material cool before handling if overheated.
• Microwave use: Heat on the included PTFE pad in 20-second bursts only; do not leave unattended.
• Do not use open flame — torches are not an acceptable heat source.
• Acceptable alternatives: heat gun, warm oven (approx. 160–200°F / 71–93°C), or hot water.
