Diamond flywheels cut brilliant, mirror-like bright cuts into soft precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum, with facets that catch light along an engraved line or a band's edge. Each wheel is finely crafted and balanced for clean, smooth cutting performance. Five cutting profiles are offered: Flat, 90°, 120°, 130°, and 150°, and all mount on a 3mm shank.

These are delicate tools that require careful handling at all times. They must be operated at very high speeds, up to 35,000 RPM, using a micromotor system capable of sustaining both that speed and the demands of a 3mm shank. Mishandling or dropping these wheels may cause damage.
