Glardon-Vallorbe Habilis LH2630 Files Sets of 5-Cut 00 & Cut 1

Habilis files cover the ground at the bench between a needle file and a full-size hand file: jobs that need more material removed than a needle file can take off, but finer control than a standard heavy file allows.

The Glardon-Vallorbe Habilis LH2630 is made in Switzerland with the same materials and manufacturing standards as Glardon-Vallorbe's standard precision hand files, and its reduced surface area brings it in below them. The design has a built-in handle: the elongated tang doubles as the grip, so no separate handle is needed. The files are parallel in width and thickness with one safe side, shaped for comfortable handling and balanced for efficient, controlled cutting. They are stout and rigid and do not flex, so stock comes off fast and predictably.

Measurements are taken at the thickest point of the file. The length of cut is 4" and the overall length is 8-1/2". Sold as a set of 5 in a Glardon-Vallorbe factory file pouch, in a choice of cut 00 or cut 1.
