Description

Cutting a precise seat for a faceted stone in platinum, titanium, or white gold takes a bur hard enough to hold its edge in tough alloys. The Busch Fig. 413AU carbide setting bur is built for exactly that work, and this complete kit puts 23 consecutive sizes from 0.80 mm to 3.00 mm on the bench, every one on a 3/32" shank.

Busch manufactures the 413AU from hot isostatically compressed, fine-grain carbide to ultra-high precision tolerances. It cuts cleanly at all speeds and lasts significantly longer than tungsten vanadium or high-speed steel burs, which makes it more cost-effective in the long run. Each bur drills the seat a faceted stone needs for a secure fit in flush and bezel settings, and the set arrives in a plastic bur box with 48 holes sized for 3/32" shank burs.
