Notes
- Impact adjustment: Rotate the knurled impact ring to set hammer force; test on similar metal before working on finished pieces.
- Forward-only operation: Always operate in forward mode — running in reverse can permanently damage the handpiece.
- Brush maintenance: Replace carbon brushes when worn below 2 mm (approximately every 200 hours of typical use).
- Overload protection: If the red overload indicator activates, switch off the unit, correct the condition, and restart after a brief pause.
- Engraving use: Install the included graver holder and set stroke speed between 1,000–2,500 spm for optimal control.
- Safety: Always wear eye protection; avoid loose clothing or jewelry during operation. Never immerse the handpiece in liquid.
- Compatible with the optional Foredom AK101 6-Piece Anvil Point Kit for varied textures and setting applications.
