Foredom M.LX Hang-up Motor with C.TXR-1 Foot Control and Choice of Handpiece 115V

This flex shaft kit pairs the 115V Foredom M.LX low-speed, high-torque motor with the Foredom 115V C.TXR-1 electronic foot control and your choice of handpiece, built around the way stone setters and engravers actually work. The LX is a 1/10 HP permanent magnet, ball bearing motor topping out at 5,000 RPM, so it holds torque down where the cut happens instead of running away from you. It is the current successor to the discontinued EE, R, and original L Series Foredom motors.

The C.TXR-1 foot control gives you hands-free speed management at the bench, and the separate motor-and-handpiece layout keeps the working end light. Fifteen handpieces are available on this kit, from hammer handpieces for setting to quick change and adjustable chuck handpieces for general bench work. If you already own the handpiece you want to run, pick the No Handpiece option and take the motor and control on their own.

• The Technique and Badeco options on this kit are the no duplex spring versions, as marked in the Available Options table. If you run any duplex spring handpiece on this motor, keep the speed low and the spring straighter than 45 degrees: high revs are the most common cause of duplex spring failure, and duplex springs carry no warranty.
• The No Handpiece option is the motor and foot control only. Nothing is supplied to hold a tool.
• This is the 115V configuration. A 230V version of the same motor and control pair is stocked separately.
