Spring rings are the most popular type of clasp used for chains worn around the neck — secure, reliable, and easy to use. These 5mm diameter closed top spring ring clasps are available in 14K Yellow Gold, 18K Yellow Gold, 18K White Gold, and Platinum, making them an ideal finishing component for fine jewelry chains across a range of metal types.
Spring ring clasps consist of a round hollow tube with a tiny coil spring inside. A movable, spring-tensioned bolt with a lever attached opens with fingernail pressure, then snaps firmly closed under spring tension. Opening and closing requires two hands, providing a secure hold during wear. These clasps feature a soldered closed top jump ring for easy, reliable attachment to one end of a chain.
