Fretz R-101 Large Raising T-Stake-7" Across

The Fretz R-101 Large Raising T-Stake is a professional-grade forming stake designed for traditional silversmithing and large-format metalwork. Measuring 7" (178 mm) tip to tip, this stake provides the working surface needed to raise full-size vessels and other substantial hollow forms. Cast from 420 stainless steel and hardened to 50 HRC, the R-101 resists denting and rust — common issues with traditional cast iron stakes — and shares the same material standard as the full line of Fretz hammers.

The highly polished working surface helps produce clean, consistent results during raising operations. For optimal performance, reduced bounce, and less arm fatigue, Fretz recommends mounting the stake in a Fretz stake holder (112.720) secured to a stump or heavy workbench.
