A bench-top polishing station for taking metal from scratch removal through high polish without changing machines. The Foredom K.BL-DCH-3M Polishing System bundles a compact bench lathe with a complete set of 3M Radial Bristle Disc Wheels, delivering a full progression from scratch removal to high polish on all metals. The lathe is equally at home on a workbench or at a stand-up polishing station, powered by a 1/6 hp high-torque permanent magnet motor that runs exceptionally quiet and smooth across its full speed range.
Precision-machined right-hand and left-hand tapered spindles accept buffs and wheels up to 4" in diameter. The cast iron base features mounting holes and suction cup feet for a secure, stable hold on any work surface. Two heavy-gauge sheet metal dust collector hoods with 2-1/2" (64 mm) adapters connect to most dust collection systems or shop vacuums, keeping the workspace clean during polishing and buffing operations.
The included 3M Radial Bristle Disc Wheels are pre-loaded with polishing compounds, so no additional compounds are needed. The seven-wheel grit progression covers the full finishing process on all metals.
