Round 2-3/4" Diameter Solder Box with Rotating Lid

Keep your precious metal solders organized and secure with this German-made brass solder box featuring a rotating lid. The round box measures 70 mm (2-3/4") in diameter and 20 mm (3/4") in height, making it a compact yet practical addition to any jeweler's or metalsmith's bench.

Four separate interior compartments allow you to segregate different solder types, preventing mix-ups during critical work. The lid rotates smoothly by gripping the peg on top while holding the box steady — it is firmly attached and designed to rotate, not to be removed. Keep the lid in the zu (closed) position to keep solders securely contained between uses.

Stock each solder type in the compartment opening immediately behind its corresponding label. The lid is stamped in German with the following designations:

• Goldlot weich – soft gold solder
• Silberlot – silver solder
• Platinlot – platinum solder
• Goldlot hart – hard gold solder
• zu – closed

Use the traditional German labeling system as intended, or adapt the compartments to suit your own solder organization preferences.
