Firescoff Rh Rhodium Protection Flux 4 Oz. (120ml)

Firescoff Rh is a rhodium protection ceramic flux that lets you solder and repair rhodium plated and gold filled jewelry without damaging the plated layer, and it helps prevent rhodium from turning black. Expect longer working time at higher temperatures and warm water cleanup that eliminates the need for an acid pickle pot.

It is supplied as a 4 oz (120 ml) spray on ceramic flux for rhodium plated white gold, gold filled, silver and mixed metal assemblies. Typical work includes ring resizes and repairs on rhodium plated white gold, soldering near rhodium plated components or trim, and gold filled or silver assemblies that need added surface protection.

Notes

How to use:

1. Pre-warm the piece gently.
2. Apply Firescoff Rh as a fine, even spray coating.
3. Solder as usual and reapply if areas become exposed.
4. Clean off residue with warm water or in an ultrasonic.

• Avoid overheating localized areas, and reapply the coating as needed.
