How we source our metal
Pre-cut hard flow silver solder in convenient 1/2 Troy Ounce (10 DWT) packs. Each piece is pre-cut to .040" × .040" (1 mm × 1 mm) square, eliminating the time-consuming step of cutting solder yourself at the bench. Hard silver solder flows at approximately 1450°F, making it ideal for early-stage joins in multi-step soldering sequences where subsequent solder operations will use lower-flow grades.
