Il set di stake progressive Fretz - con i modelli F-2A, F-2B e F-2C - è progettato dal maestro metalmeccanico Bill Fretz per formare motivi ondulati e scanalati nella lamiera. Ogni stake si basa sulla geometria dello stake per formatura Fretz F-2, ma incorpora una nervatura rialzata lungo la linea centrale, che diventa progressivamente più affilata da uno stake all'altro, consentendo transizioni uniformi da curve morbide a onde profondamente scanalate in forme anticlastiche o sinclastiche.
