Click & Lock jump rings close a chain, a clasp or a charm at the bench without lighting a torch. They look like ordinary jump rings and can be soldered shut like ordinary jump rings, but a hidden mechanism in the ends locks the joint on its own. To close one, hold each end in a pair of nylon jaw pliers so the metal is not marred, separate the ends, twist and move them past each other, then bring them together with gentle pressure until you hear an audible click confirming the ends are locked. A joined ring can still be separated with deliberate effort, which makes it effectively permanent for most jewelry work.

This heavyweight assortment holds 120 sterling silver round Click & Lock jump rings, 12 each of ten sizes running 2.4–9.0 mm outside diameter in 23 through 14 gauge wire. Wire gauge changes with the size, and every ring in this set is heavy gauge next to the standard rings in the line. These are open jump rings, and the assortment is sold by the pack rather than by the piece.
