Sterling silver Click & Lock jump rings look like ordinary jump rings and can be soldered closed like ordinary jump rings, but each one carries a hidden locking mechanism that creates a secure closure between the two ends without solder.

To close a Click & Lock jump ring, use two pairs of nylon jaw pliers, one gripping each end, so the ring is not marred. Separate the ends, twist and move them past each other, then bring them together with firm pressure. A distinct click confirms the ends have locked. The joined ring can still be separated with deliberate effort, which makes the closure effectively permanent for most applications. These rings also solder closed just like conventional jump rings whenever that finish is preferred.

This medium weight assortment is sold as a pack of 120 sterling silver round Click & Lock jump rings, 12 pieces each of ten sizes. Wire gauge runs from 24 gauge (0.50 mm) down to 18 gauge (1.00 mm), and outside diameters run from 2.5 mm to 8.0 mm.
