The Nikon 10X Triplet Loupe brings precision Japanese optics to gemstone grading and jewelry inspection. Housed in a lightweight black plastic frame, this loupe features a 13mm orthoscopic triplet lens delivering high-definition resolution of more than 63 lines per millimeter — meeting the demanding standards of professional gemologists and jewelers.

The black frame is purposefully designed to eliminate light reflections that can alter the apparent color of a stone during grading. The lens is fully corrected for color aberrations and exhibits no spherical distortion at the edges — critical for accurate assessment. While 13mm may appear smaller than competing loupes, Nikon's optics deliver the same true 13mm area of focus as larger-lens models. Larger loupes simply include unfocused peripheral area beyond that 13mm zone — the laws of optics cannot be circumvented.

A thoughtfully engineered lanyard eyelet is rotated 90 degrees from conventional placement, keeping the loupe properly oriented when worn on a chain or cord, rather than flopping sideways. Made in Japan.
